By AdminUpdate on the electric SKT105E mining trucks in Svappavaara!Big news from the mines of Svappavaara where two fully electric SKT105E mining trucks, delivered and supported by Nordkust Maskin, are proving their reliability in harsh conditions. Despite the rugged terrain and shifting winter climate, the battery powered SKT105E wide-body mining trucks has since their deployment, in the middle of March, had an uptime of 99% and in total transported around 300 000 tonnes of raw material. Additionally, these electric trucks have reduced the total output of CO2 by 150 tonnes when compared to traditional diesel-powered mining trucks.
